tower PARKING SYSTEM
Our TP parking system was designed to provide a large number of parking spaces on a small footprint. As the name says, this is a tower-like structure with a height of up to 164 feet. It has a modular design, permitting above-ground, underground or mixed construction. Above ground, cars are parked on a self-supporting steel structure; below ground, they are parked inside a concrete structure.
ABOUT TOWER PARKING SYSTEM (TP)
The lift moves over the whole height of this fully automated system. To its left and right, up to two vehicles can be parked behind one another, and as many as five vehicles can be placed side by side. In the vertical direction, the number of levels depends on the vehicle heights and local height restrictions.
A shuttle, riding on the lift along the full length of cars arranged side by side, conveys the vehicle pallets to the shelf. With this system and thanks to short travel distances, there is less need for longitudinal travel of the storage and retrieval unit. This means the parking system operates very quickly. A network of sensors prevents any contact between vehicle bodies and the walls of the structure. Cars have maximum protection.
